How hard is AS physics (edexcel) considering you were OK with IGCSE physics?

Hey. Sooo I will hopefully enter medicine inshaAllah after school, right now I'm taking Biology, Chemistry, and Math. But I see that some universities require physics instead of math D: So Im thinking of taking physics as well, plus if I ever change my mind and turn to engineering for example I'll have my physics to back me up.

Thing is I'm worried it'll be too hard to manage with those four subjects in less than a year? How bad is AS physics? XD I love math so I don't have much problem with the mathematical part of physics. It's just the light and waves stuff that gets on my nerves >.>

What do you think I should do?

For medicine it's optional to take Physics hnmmm i am also in your shoes but i took Physics cus it is highly unlikely i will end up studying medicine well Physics is hard , but if you have a good teacher and you study hard, then you have nothing to worry about

Yes for Medicine u need chemistry and bio as must..unless ur going to pak where chem bio phy r imp -_-

Physics requires a good teacher..Cux the original edexcel phy buk has a lot of imp stuff missing which comes up in exams :'S

I started off my A level like u..But after doing C1 is dropped maths..C1 is non calculator ppr and tht needed practice as i ws totally hooked on calculator :/
and its hard taking 4 subjects unless you've awesum teachers (which i dont )

I met 2 students till now whu had dese 4 sbjcts ..Unfortunately they gave up maths in A2 cux of bad result n are repeating AS sbjcts in june :/
