How is your grade calculated in igcse

Usually they take the percentage total of all the papers for the particular subject then compared to the marks around they world they make grade boundaries. These change all the time and are sometimes hight like 80% for A* but sometimes rly low! like last year in history you only needed 69% to make an A*
