How many past papers shall I do?

OK.. I'm a Year 12 student who is working on AS level (Maths FurtherM Physics Chem)

I have around half an year to prepare for this exam.

Here's the question. Is a level pastpapers in like 1999~2003 even useful? I think it's sort of wasting time because the test format had changed. Am I right? or shall I just do all of them.

start early years papers so that you do not waste any later ones for learning how to answer and general practice... use the latest papers to simulate exam sessions... in fact the earlier the year the more challenging the syllabus and questions
