THIS IS FOR 12 MARK QUESTIONS
well you start by giving a definition
write advantages and disadvantages in reference to the case study and give a conclusion
Be sure for every one mark you give a point...so for 12 marks be sure to at least give 12 points (even though some of the marks are for application) the examiner will have no chance of cutting any marks that way :)

Firstly, I would suggest you use either a blue or a black pen to write down your answers on the answer booklet. Secondly, before, you write down each answer, carefully think through the main points before writing it down. These are two tips on answering Paper 2. Hope this helped.

Give 12 points??Arent we supposed to give around 5 marks well explained..This will earn marks for application and analysis..The rest will be for knowldge and evaluation....We can't possibly give 12 points?

for a 12 mark question you need to give the definition (if the question requires) thats 2 marks
the advantages and disadvantages...its obvious that you will write at least 3-4 for each explaining them...the application part is common sense because you can't give advantages and disadvantages of something else which is not related to the question and like i said in the brackets on my post some marks are available for application...bt it is always better that you still give 12 valid points (including your application)
Also often for 12 marks in account you need to give 2 level 2 answers for level 3...so again if there are 2 years you make almost 6-6 calculations which is pretty realistic

For an example, if the question is asking whether a franchise should be done and you are supporting the side yes, is it possible for you to write 4 advantages and 2 disadvantages with explanation to emphasize you are supporting the idea. Also, can you write 3 advantages and 3 disadvantages and then choose that same answer(you are supporting it)???

that is what you have to do...give a perfectly balanced answer (3 and 3) and suggest which one you support for a strong reason

Thank for that....How are we supposed to approach the 8 and 10 points question?

read the question carefully
Underline the key words
Plan - Advantages/disadvantages
Explain point concisely
expand on consequences - Possible effects on people involved - stakeholders/ shareholders ?
Judgement - Evaluate
Effect on bigger picture ? Community as a whole / Government ?
Collate and present all points .
And done :)
