how to answer igcse business paper 2 12 mark questions

hey guys i'm new here but i've been wondering if we are required to write a lot for 12 mark questions? i'm aware that we need a point for knowledge, two points for analysis and 1 for application for each point but i find myself writing rather short answers that only include an advantage and disadvantage for each point so i'm wondering if i have to write more than that? sorry if my question isn't too clear, english isn't my first language.
