Whereas I know, you are told ur overall grades for ur results and after some days u r told ur components grades. However, u r not told ur percentages but the people tell their percentages with their approximation and grades. In IGCSE, grade thresholds are released with which u may guess you marks. So thats for sure that u r not told ur percentages openly. I have no idea if u may come to know ur exact percentage through some source.

But telling percentage with the help of grades is something difficult because for a single grade there is a limit of 9 percentages!for example , grade A starts with 80 % to 89%. Many get an A but who knows whether one had it on 81% or on 89%...there is a lot difference.Thanks.

thats the case when the grade boundries are fixed but thats not the case in igcse, they publish grade thresholds for every session and this makes estimation of percentages easier. however if there is a large range for each grade one can still resonably estimate his actual score as the candidate knows better how he could be possibly rewarded. also if u can remember ur answers u can wait until the marking schemes and question papers r published.
