How to prepare for Sociology?

Assalamu Alaikum everyone :)
So to put it straight, my sociology teacher at school is good for nothing - she takes classes once in two weeks and half the time is spent by her repeating that i'm a lousy good for nothing! I've sent the admission but technically i have no clue how to prepare! In the end, its me whose grades would be effected and not the teacher! Has anyone got any clues to how must i prepare for it!?
