How to score an ( A* ) ?

Should u get an ( A ) in all papers to score an ( A* ) in the whole subject ?

or, should your total marks in all the papers be above a certain mark set by the board ?

I dont get it plz help.

it depends on how well the students in ur country do but usually its above 80% overall to get A*.
if u get A's in all papers it is more than likely tht u will get A*.

well i heard recently every centre has its own curve:)

if it was a worldwide standard, A* would be much higher than 80% due to high competition between more students.

thats not possible

Hey dean can u tell me a thing???
for example in ICT will i get A* if i get total overall grade A(in practical) and A grade in theory??? or in practical it is taken as 2 different components??
A+A=A* or A+A+A=A*
