Conc. of Auxin in the block A was higher than B (shown in Table), proving Hypothesis B, which stated that Auxin runs towards the shaded region given that light fall on the right side.

And about the Diagram. The shoot slightly directs towards right (Block of Auxin placed on the left portion of the shoot. better growth. thus bends).

Degree of freedom= (20-1)+(20=1)=38

Thats it. I hope so.
