calcualted the percentage of plasma in the blood i.e 700\1200x100 =58.3%

its total non sense to divide 125 by 700
because it 125 cm3 of 1200 passes
and out of the 1200 blood 700 is plasma !
would not be fear to ignore thwe other substances in the blood !

they cant be one specie agian but random mutations and natural selection will occur agai producing new specie
im pretty sure it was just 125/700 x 100...
This formulae doesnt make sense, you're multiplying percentage by amount.

That was the total unfiltered volume as far as I remember the question!! we were supposed to find the % of plasma in the glomerular filtrate! The total G.F was 700 and the G.f which passes was 125 cm^3.So (125/700 *100) gives us 17.97%. Also the question was only worth 2 Mks
if u read the statment well u will get it
multiplying the percentage by 125 means that
58.3 per cent of blood was plasma
so 58.3 percent of the 125 is 72.9

think about it....does the whole of the blood pass into the renal capsule??....only the plasma of the blood passes through rite???....no red or white blood cells.....there was 750cm3 of plasma.....and 125cm3 passed into the renal capsule....so percentage is 125/700 *100no

Total plasma 700 , fluid passed 125. All.we have to do is calculate the %. How do we do that? Fluid passed/total fluid x 100
No i got that, but what i dont understand is why would you make 58.3 percent of the 125? considering the examiner has already told us 125 cm3 has gotten through? and 1200 was the volume occupied by plasma fluid and also OTHER compounds e.g protiens which cant get through basement membrane
