Only if you rounded the answer off to certain number of significant figures.

They do sadly cut the marks later on as well.

NO they dont,error is carried forward and if procedure is correct marks will be awarded.

I've read it in the marking scheme myself. They're mostly 1 mark questions. If there were two marks questions of the moles, then you'll get 1 mark for working. Otherwise, your answer won't be considered correct if it was a 1 mark question of moles.
