well the wavelength was 40cm , right?
only one of the four options stated that the wavelength was 40cm , the others gave the wavelength as 20cm.

If you divide the length of the wave which was 1m or 100cm by how many waves occured you would get 100/5 which is 20....am i right ???

actually there were 5 loops meaning that there were 2.5 wavelengths ---> 100/2.5 = 40cm
