how do you check the percentage to know if the relation is true or not?I didn't get the relation correct. I got 38%. And in graph, as 1/m increased h0-h/m decreased ><
Mine was 0.125, but I got 2 out of 5 point which were extremely anomalous, so I left those points out altogether! The gradient had to be positive. Confirmed. Mine was 0.172 and I used grams and metres. But then again, I might be wrong.
The same happened with me lol: read by previous postI did the first experiment for three times because my graph for my first set of result was terrifying. I could not see clear pattern in the graph.
bigger valur of k-smaller value of k / bigger value of k * 100how do you check the percentage to know if the relation is true or not?
You decide that limit yourself.if %age< 20% then relationship is correct!
1 point was anomolousHow many of you guys had that "no clear relationship found" problem with Q1 i.e more than one point was anomalous.
And very anomalous, mind you.
Damn, I had two horrible point...1 point was anomolous
That will only cost u 1 markDamn, I had two horrible point...
Why did CIE set such a stupid question; they could have given something on electricity, we would have gotten perfect graphs!
I would be very surprised that it would: my raw values were very good, it's the calculation part where this mishap happened. I got two same y values for two different x values. That will only cost u 1 mark
I did everything right and checked those anomalous values about 6 times, they were still anomalous!I did everything right and even checked it 3 times, but still i got a negative gradient!

noo its (bigger k - smallerk) divde by average of da 2 ks into 1oo...bigger valur of k-smaller value of k / bigger value of k * 100
was really easy expecting an A atleastHow was physics paper 33
Actually if its less than twenty percent then there is a direct relationshipMy teacher told me that there is no specific answer to the relationship question. If the difference between your k values is < 20% and you wrote that there is no direct relationship, then you'll get full marks and vice versa. And I think the k values should have been given to 3 s.f.
