btw question 1 was answer supposed to be in terms of a?
No, when you formed the equation in 'x', a was eliminated from the equation.btw question 1 was answer supposed to be in terms of a?
really? i thought the qn asked for range of values? or am i wrong? No, when you formed the equation in 'x', a was eliminated from the equation.
It did ask for a range of values. There was a quadratic equation in x. When you applied the quadratic formula, in the last step, 'a' was in both the numerator and denominator so it was cut out of the expression.really? i thought the qn asked for range of values? or am i wrong?
