1 Substitute g(x) into f(x) and solve the value.

2 f inverse x is a reflection of fx in the line y = x

3 Express each as an inverse. Make x the subject.

1 . Just solve the quadratic.

2. Use completing the square method and find the range after that.

3. Substitute f(x) into g(x) and use the discriminant Formula to determine that no solutions exist.

4 Same, reflection in the line y = x
