ICT Question, Help please

When i was doing my paper 2, i did not have a pen, i asked my teacher and he said it was OK to put my info in pencil, like my name and center number. I don't know if it OK and just wanna ask you guys, btw we put our entire test with printouts in our individual folder with our names in it so i think it should be alright.
