Auxins are present in d meristem. They diffuse down the stem....if derz light from alldirection, ie, unilight or something, the growth is normal.biology : (e) Responses to light are coordinated by plant growth substances known as auxins. Explain the role of auxins in coordinating the response. 4 marks

However if light comes from a particular side, then d scene is diff...
Auxins collect at d dark side of the stem causing Cell Elongation not cell division...diz elongation is by absorption of water by ENDOosmosis.
Due to this the darker part extends and bends over the darker part. As a whole d plant shoot seems to be pointing d direction of light. +ve phtotropism...
I guess diz will fetch u 4 marks..
