i have been doing past paper 3's and im stuck with october/november 2010 question 2b. I don't understand the markscheme's answer. could someone please explain to me?

u will need to be knowing that the sum of clockwise moments is equal to the anticlockwise moments that is (f1 x d1=f2 x d2). F1=160 which is the weight of the board and d1 will be the distance from the centre of this board to the support P which will be 0.5+0.25+0.03 whish ishalf the thickness of P. F2 is what we are looking for and d2 will be 0.2 -0.03. F2 =(160*0.78)/0.17.
