what's the meaning of "NB: Condone use of < "
and in IGCSE January 2012 Maths B Paper 2 No.1 ,can we write the answer in range like 2<x<6?
or just separate x>2 and x<6?

the ans should be written like this that's what we were taught:)

2<x<6 and dont drop the eqauls sign.don't separate until asked to.(y)
condone means lookover so i guess they meant its ok if u leave out the equals sign but i do no we wer taught it's imp.

i have looked up the marking scheme..but i don't know how they get it?

try solving this one qp lik this is sure to cum, btw i no how to do it so post only the answer it's just for revision...
Find the size, in degrees to 3 significant figures, of the angle A which satisfies the
equation
cos A+ sin 30° = tan 40°
for 0<A<90 (inequality sign has equal sign)
