Here's what I understand:
GCSE and IGCSE mostly cover the same topics and are accepted worldwide as equivalent qualifications/certifications. The main differences are:
* GCSEs are mostly offered in the UK, whereas IGCSE is offered in many different countries.
* GCSEs final grades are based on both your school work and the final exams, whereas with IGCSE, your final grades solely depend on the final exams.
