is business management and business studies the same thing

Hi, i was studying busiess management in scotland and now i want to do business management in alevels, but the only thing i can find there is business studies, some of the questions have a bit more math involved in them which im not used to it, are these two subjects the same thing, or are they completely different. will appreciate a good reply. thanks
