AOA people , i just wanted to know that which of the books is most reliable as all of them have different details.
for instance , For battle of badr Farkhanda Noor Muhammad says the Quraish arrived first while Dr.Iftikhar says Muslims arrived first at the battlefield .

Every book is different, cant do anything about it

I think Quraish occupied first because they got all important places and muslims got required amount of water when it rained..no idea though..might be wrong..

well from what i read, its said that the quraish gained all important position but the Badr well was under the control of the muslims!

I am pretty sure that the Quraish arrived first because they got all the important positions. One of the reasons why the Muslims were weaker was because they didn't occupy these places.
