Islamiyat Notes by Sir Muzzamil Mehmood- He is the best teacher, hands down. He has 3 world distinctions to his name. He is in Lahore and teaches at LGS,BSS,LACAS and ROOTS IVY. In acadmies, he teaches at EGC, Spirit Academy and Scope Academy

However, in my humble opinion, the notes of Sir Muzzamil Mehmood are best as they contain Level 4 answers
The syllabus is posted below
The muzzamil Mehmood link is a winrar file so be sure to install winrar first if you don't have it

Some tips for acing Islamiyat 2058
1)Read everything, complete all the syllabus and don't depend upon guesses. In MJ18, P2, no one could correctly guess the questions which were why hadith were compiled,Hazrat Umar, Life after death and Shahdah. So dont depend upon guesses much
2)If you have time, read from different sources like the net or different books e.g, Yasmin Malik,FNM and Ghulam Shabbir. But the best are Muzzamils notes. You should memorizr the main points and write them in your own words
3)In 10 marker, write everything you know and quotations are also important. More the references, the better the answer will be
4) For 4 markers, your evaluative skills are assessed. This is done via general understanding . Adding references is optional.
5)For Quranic passages, you derive the answer from the passage and giving one reference is necessary.
6)Make sure to read the question carefully before attempting it. CAIEs can trick you
7)To increase your writing speed, practice the 10 markers in 16-18 minutes
8) In Q1(b) parts of both papers, do not use should as it gives bad impression to examiners. Use alternative
9)Lastly,be confident that you can achieve A* and ask for Allahs help. Your real preparation begins 1-2 months before the exams.

For geo, the book of Huma Naz is best as it contains everything. Use it along with Past papers to achieve A*
In 6 markers of geo, there are two types of question.
1)To what extent
Write how it can/adv and what problems it faces/disadv and then write a concluding statement. Also give an example.
2)Q box
In the start, write which statement you support and then write about its 3 adv and 2 disadv of one statement and also of the other. Here are a few examples

FAQ; Should i or should i not attend academy?
Academy sessions of Pakistan Studies and Islamiyat are usually in 5 sessions.
First is Summer session(June-Aug),then past paper/test session in September, then autumn session(Oct- Dec),then Winter session(Jan-Mar) and the final past paper/test session in Apr). The crash courses usually cost PKR 23000(each sub:pak studies and Islamiyat) and last 2-3 months while the test sessions cost 15000. In the crash course, they give you notes and complete the whole syllabus in 3 months. In the test session which is preparation for O/N and M/J, you are given answers to past papers and also important questions and exam tips. 3-4 days before the exam , a workshop is conducted by the teachers in which guess papers and last day tips are told. It usually costs PKR 1000.
If you want to attend it, you should as they tell you tips that are not usually told in school and the way of teaching, especially Sir Muzzamils is better. However, if you are exceptionally brilliant student and can manage without it, there is no need.

– Pertaining to answering the 14 mark questions,

  • Give both sides of the stories ; the goods and the bads
  • Give all details you can think of relevant to the answer
  • Give all relevant reformers details if you get the reformers question
  • Most importantly, give a conclusion, stating why you believe, say if the question was, xyz was the most influential, explain, giving the pro’s and cons of all of them, conclude saying who in your opinion was the most successful/influential etc. The 14 mark questions will ALWAYS require a conclusion.

For the source-based questions in hist0ry. Here is how you have to answer them(by Usman Hameed)
For the 3 marks questions:
Infer from the text and abstract info from the text. This is the easy one and you can get 3/3 marks
For the 5 marker:
1)Tell a little what happened before that event/picture.e.g if the pic if pf Simon commission then write a little before that
2)What you can infer/abstract from the pic
3)The consequences of that event.
