yes we will salman

by the way this is a note on how to answer paper 1 Q1 part b(the distinctive one)
there are three ways:
-firstly u have to compare it with other passages and how it is similar or different from them, or
-U cud explain what muslims belief and how muslims can act upon them(just like the two parts of hadith), or
-lastly, u cud explain what certain words mean in the context by referencing them.

i found these tips from marking schemes and examiners reports. this is what examiners are looking for in the part b answer. and the first two points can be included for answering any part b question. this is the requirement of understanding and evaluation!!

but that is the same point as why Hazrat Abu Bakr(RA) compiled the quran. just because 300 huffaz were martyred in battle of yamama and to make sure that quran is preserved he did so................

for those of you who are looking for islamiyat tips, let me share my strategy.

1.. everyone is sufficiently prepared but to score an A, u need to UNDERSTAND the QUESTION, u need to clearly know what the examiner wants,

2. people say that u need to write more in islamiyat than any other paper. thats true but U MUST NOT WRITE IRRELEVANT DETAILS, this puts off the examiner,

TIP: read the question twice, and after every paragraph of writing your answer, read the question again!

3. the examiner has magical eyes !!! he can FEEL the ratta! you need to understand each and every thing, if you add some personal opinions too where relevant, ull gain extra credit. Especially in islamiyat, the examiner is pleased to see that the candidate has insight, vision and is a modern muslim who can present his ideas in a logical way.

4. for surahs part A and B, write what YOU understand, NOT what is written in the surah or else you won't get marks.

5. finally, listen to your heart in islamiat exam, let your imagination and reasoning express yourself in your words instead of being limited by what you have read.

Hope u get A* !!

thnx i need 2 ask k is gud an high quality english needed in islmiat or just simple english wid all pointz covered!

yar look. the muslims were leaving makkah as they were threatend by the makkans and the makkans were being damaged by the prospering of the muslims so the makkans wanted to put and end to islam by killing prophet(SAW) (GOD FORBID) so the pledges were therefore made secretly on the plains of aqaba which allowed safety o prophet (SAW) and also allowed islam to be spread. also izzah you should answer this question cuz i am a little confused here as well!!!

yaar its not an english paper as long as ur writing is readable and the meaning of words is correct its not a neccessity that u write words whose meaning u dont even know or try to show that u know english which is really not required unless u have control over ur words like correct usage of them. :p

but we could also answer this quesstion giving emphasis on PLEDGE :Implication:

that they were informed by jews that a prophet wud come so they wanted that the prophet wud support them and end the enimity between the aus and khazraj tribe.
