ive got the question ..it is
Estimate the value, correct to one significant figure, of ((4.03^2) × 29.88)/( √150)

so its
(16 * 30 ) / 12 = 40!!!

You got the wrong question itself. The question from Oct Nov 2007 is [(3.02^2) X 39.88 ]/ (√150) !
The answer ---> [3^2 x 40 ] / 12 = 360 / 12 = 30.

As for your question Diishiik Douw, (4.302 x 29.88)^2 ÷ √150 = [4 x 30 ] ^2÷ 12 = 14400 ÷ 12 = 1200

@depletion: Yeah, correct answer but it's not from Paper 12. Where did you get this question from? Paper 11? :S
