Approximately how many marks do you need to get an A at AS level for the following?:
Biology (9700)

MCQ - /40
Structured - /60
Practical - /40
Total - /140

^ Same for
Chemistry (9701)
Physics (9702)

And Maths (9709)
P1 - /75
M1 - /50
Total - /125


And also how many marks do you need to get an A* or an A at the end of A2 level i.e. for the complete coarse of the A level for the same subjects?

Chem I think in
McQs abt 32
Structured 38 to 40
Practicals abt 30
Total just add them up

Physics is more or less same as chem

Maths is way different its thresholds are way higher
P1 abt 60 to 62
P6 abt 40

Thanks! And also does your grade depend on all the 3 papers (MCQ,Structured and practical) added together or is it individual.
Like for example the total to get an A overall say is 102
And if I get 26 in MCQ so thats a B, then 36 in structured (B) and then 40 in practical (A)... so that adds to 102.
But then i have 2 B's and one A so will i get an A or an B?

Your overall grade depends on all the 3 papers added together
And if it is equal or more than the marks required for an A so u get an A grade
