math 0580 paper

hi i was just wondering that why is there a specimen paper for igcse 0580 paper 4? i was unable to find any major difference between previous papers and the specimen paper. the format is the same, but there are fewer questions, so i guess the only difference is that now questions will be of more marks and Lesser in number than previous years.
please reply is you know about any details.
and one more thing, is there a specimen paper for paper 2?

Assalamoalaikum!!

well...specimen papers r published when there's a change in the paper pattern....from 2009 onwards there was a change made to the paper 4...,i.e. papers 2009 onwards ....students answer on the question paper itself...which wasnt the case until 2008..that's the only reason why specimen paper of the new format was published ..there's no change made to paper 2 pattern so there's no specimen for that

Some of the questions were already found in past exams o.o
And I don't see any difference with the format,, ?

compare a 2008 paper with 2009 paper....space provided in the 2009 paper for the answers...but in 2008 paper it was supposed to be answered on a separate answer booklet

btw student92 just dont bother abt it...that must be for sum other reason.... i remember i've done this paper last year...when i had to appear for the exam!! and specimen is just to show u how the paper wud be....dont worry abt it...just practice it and focus on the questions and alll...this isnt much to worry abt :!:

Do as MUCH as you can, I don't think this is much satisfactory. Also, when you start solving, you will be encouraged and eager to solve more.. It becomes like drugs
