well, i have 2 calculators

on fx570 MS - press mode twice till you see SD - Standard Deviation - its no. 1 - one SD mode activated to a value from the Normal distribution table just click Shift and 3 and select 1 -' P( ' and type in the (Φ Value)

on fx991 ES Mode->3->AC then Shift->1->5->1

guys one big doubt..a litle urgent cos mocks r on!!

in linear combination of variables, wen am i suposed to square thE a of aX and when d o i not have to>??
like supose
w=aX, SO V(w)= a squred v(w) or a *v(w)
solved pprs but dint understand!
wat relation does it hav wid independant and dependant variables??......
pls help.. AN EXAMPLE ON IT WUD DO WONDERS...

suppose Y=2X ..zen Var(Y)=4 Var(X)
if Y=X1+X2...zen Var(Y) = Var(X1) +Var(X2)=2Var(X)
