ok it says that f(x) = 3x - 1/x^2 +3
and down it says the same equation but =0
so f(x) = 0 and f(x) = 0 is the x-axis so we see the intersection with the curve and x-axis
in the second one it says that the same equation but +7 instead of +3 so we need to make it +3
so we transfer -4 to the other side
so the whole equation =-4 we draw Y= -4 and see the intersections with the curve...that's it pretty easy though
