I need help on a past year question on Paper 3 Pure Maths - M/J/07.

I don't know how to "show" as the answer on part 7(ii).

P.S when answering, it would be better for them to be handwritten or in pic. Rather than with ASCII texts. I find them easier to read and understand/

When its (+)....how come it turned into (-)? Is it because of log-law?

Its because of integration law related to ln functions.
