can someone please help me with may june 2010 pp31 q7 part iii) ?

Once you are done with the argand diagrams,draw a tangent from the origin to the circle where the points lie,remember you have to draw it on the side whhere it gives you the maximum argument.Find the length of that line using cos rule or any way you are comfortable with

Draw on an argand diagram and make an angular loci of 45degrees(1/4pi).
After you have drawn the loci,draw a line from the origin to the loci you have made(Keep in mind draw in a way that it is the shortest)
It will meet the loci at a specific point.You have to find the length frm the origin to the point where it meets..

For that question,find W^2 in x + iy form.
Plot w and w^2 on the argand diagram.
Make a perpendicular bisector of the points.
Obtain the centre point.
And make a circle from that point.
Make a straight line from the points and find the modulus of that line.
