Mathematics Grading Query

Guys, in maths AS, i do P1 and P6.

If i think i got a mark like 59/75 for Paper1, and i know im gonna do well in Paper 6 by gettin about 45/50, what are the chances of me getting an A?

To be honest 59/75 in P1 isn't whats called good.
With other getting over 70, chances of A* are almost gone and A lies in danger zone.

Don't lose hope and try to hit 48+ in P6.
That might increase possibility of an A.

But sir paper was difficult if u`l compare it with pastpapers and even with june2010 maths P1, dont you think that P1 would have a low percentile?

Yeah paper was quite difficult was most of student managed it well (atleast ones I know) but no worries; score high in P6 and there's a good chance of an overall A.

Yes, for a-levels, A* is given only in A2.

S1 refers to statistics (paper 6)

haha ok thankx :) and so would u reckon that if i get about 45 in S1, i would get an A overall?

Also depends on ur P1 marks. If u have good marks in P1 then about 45 in S1 should help u to get A overall.

Don't give up, give ur best effort in S1 and then hope for the best.
