MATHS HELP NEEDED

Q1: A cone K has volume of 400cm3.calculate volume of
A) A cone similar to K but with a height twice that of K. (3 marks)
B) A cone with height four times that of K and a base radius one quarter that of K. (4 marks)

Q2: A company makes two models of television.
Model A has a rectangular screen that measures 44cm by 32cm.
Model B has a larger screen with these measurements increased in ratio 5:4
WORK OUT THE MEASUREMENTS OF THE LARGER SCREEN. (2 marks)

PLEASE SHOW YOUR WORKING ALSO FOR THE ANSWERS OF THESE QUESTIONS.

Length of Model B = 5/4 x 44 = 5 x 11 = 55 cm.
Width of Model B = 5/4 x 32 = 5 x 8 = 40 cm.

make 6 1/4 an improper fraction ... it will be 25/4 ... take the squre root of the fraction it it will be 5/2 .. 2.5 is your answer
