Maths: How do they know I use calculator?

I am just curious , i dont wanna cheat or anything , I wonder how do exam supervisors know if i use calculator in a non-calculator question , are they two diff papers or what?

there are usually two different papers..

Also if there aren't two different papers then the examiners usually check if all the proper working is there or not
