what is the meaning of the first point in the syllabus
i know abt the factorial what abt the other thing , cant type it

and what is the meaning of condition for the convergence of a geometric progression!

in geometric progression the common ratio (r) must be between -1 and 1 then its some to infinity will exist so then it would be convergent .........

Actually, Improper is not limited to not having any limits, it may also be an integral that goes from a value to infinity (asimptote) or one that has 0 as a limit too.

I might be wrong but i think if the ratio is greater than 1 then it can NEVER converge. Sum of infinity is only for those whose ratio <1 (ie the convergent ones). That applies to all the past papers i've solved.
