• 3, (i) -root (1-k^2). (ii) - root (1-k^2)/k (iii) Theeta is reflex and lies in between 270-360. Hence, 2 Theeta lies in between 540-720, which is 7th and 8th quadrant (3rd and 4th corresponding). Since sin is always negative in 3rd and 4th quadrant, the value of sin 2 Theeta will be negative for 0<k<1.
