4cos(.5theta-52.24)=3
.5theta-52.24=41.4,318.6
.5theta=93.64,370.8 (out of range so subtract 360)
theta 187.2,21.7
asked smaller angle therefore ans= 21.7

i dont know y i forgot that the 4rt quadrant is cos!! i confused it with tan!!
daam!!
been doing too many past papers today!! too sleepy!! ok got to go!!

btw after how many hours iz ur exam and which paper u doing???

remember it by these 4 words

1st ALL - all positive
2nd STUDENTS - only sine pos
3rd TAKE only tan pos
4th CALCULUS only cos pos

Hey.. Sorry kinda 10 years late.. :p but why is the answer calculated in this way that (370.84 × 2) - 720?? Did get it.. Someone please help!!
