i canot do this question. O/N 2009 11 Q10.ii)
I can get f-1(x)
but how can i get g-1(x) if theres 2 X??? full working out needed please

after corss multiplying u get:

xy + 3y = 2x -1

take 3y on the other side and bring 2x here:
xy - 2x = -1 -3y

take x common:

x ( y - 2 ) = -1 - 3y

divide both sides by (y - 2)

G^-1 = (-1 - 3x) / (x - 2)

Thats it.
