Is getting good grades on midterms important? Im depending on private tutition when it comes to Maths and Chemistry, but I still didn't solve my Maths & Chem midterms well. Also, if anyone can give me some Algebra help that would be great!

Its not really that important. But midterms enforce you to revise what you have studied in the past 4-5 months. The grades are not that important, but they can effect your impression on the teacher and later your expected grades.
