My friend used a pencil in his accounting paper do you think it will be marked?

From what i know, they wont mark it 'cause anything written in pencil is considered to be rough work...

pen is preferred but pencil wud b marked as well
the only reason for using pen is that by friction of papers the pencil writing might get erased off or kinnda smudged over itself but if it is rly clear then it wud b marked
