hi, i wanted to know how private candidates can get to know the component grades for the Oct/Nov 12 session.

I really have no idea how. I saw your post a few days ago but I hoped someone who gave privately would answer. When I gave my exams through the school, I got my component grades from the school itself. Since you applied through the British Council(hopefully :p) you'll have to contact them about it.
