What is it that you don't get in this question? Any specific part? Reading the mark scheme and examiner report would help....

(a) (i) The angle of incidence for which the angle of refraction is 90*.
(ii) See the attachment, I drew the critical angle there.
(iii) Draw a light ray along the surface after point M and give it an arrow.
(b) Since the ray is moving from denser to less denser medium, you have to draw a light ray that leaves the glass and moves away from the normal.
(c) sin 50 / sin r = 1.5, r = 30.7*.

I hope this helped and someone please correct me if I'm wrong.
