Need help to chose EFL or E2L (english igcse)

Acc to my teacher it's impossible to get an A* and an A is pretty hard, so would a B in Eng First Lang be worth more than an A or possibly an A* in English as second language?

let me make this thing clear that this comparison is totally unjustified. A and A* of ESL is same as A and A* of EFL. After all cie has already made this thing clear that efl is for those whose mother tongue is english. So if ur language skills match at tht level, u may go for efl otherwise esl is better. You may need to give IELTS or SAT later on bt thts much better thn C or lower in EFL.
I also gave ESL n got B. Now i m planning 2 give IELTS though my counseler says there's no special need 4 tht.. I m doing it for improving my portfolio
You may take your decision according 2 ur language skills. also u may take advice frm ur counselr/teacher
