need help with FACILITATED diffusion

large molecules like glucose or ions cannot pass through the phospholipid bilayer, so they pass through the mebrane by hydrophilic channels made by protein transports. the molecules which pass(diffuse*) through the membrane by this process is called facilitated diffusion (the word facilitated means 'make easy')
