Hello, can anybody please help me with this physics past paper question asap?
Please see the two attached images for the question. Thanks!!

-BTW its just one question with parts (a), (b)(i), (b)(ii), (c) but i know part (a) so yeah.

b (i) Pressure=Force/Area ~ P=1000/0.002 ~ P=500000 N
(ii) Pressure on both sides will be equal so (F/A=F/A) ~ (1000/0.002=100000/x) ~ (x=100000x0.002/1000)
