Hey Guys,

I have my Physics P6 Mock tomorrow, I was solving the past papers today, and in ALL of them, I am getting the measurements where we have to use a ruler wrong! I tried measuring with multiple rulers, but even then I could not get an accurate reading.
The readings are different by 1-2cm in smaller measurements, but the gap increases.
While in a few papers, I'll lose marks for the measurements but will still get the rest of the mark becoz of ecf, in M/J 09, I am getting a negative value after a calculation, which is impossible becoz the calculation was for volume.
Please help me out!

That is a probable cause, however, the papers were printed out and given to us by the school itself. So, the printer and the paper size is likely to be the same during my mocks, which means that I'll still get inaccurate readings. How can I make sure of this?
I tried measuring the same distance on my pc screen by zooming into 100% on the paper, but I was still getting inaccurate results?

Well, try printing out one of the papers yourself, ensuring that it is not scaled at all.

I don't have a printer at home, and no shop is open today near my area.

This measurement issue happens with everyone. Don't worry, your teacher will consider it. As long as your method of solving is correct, you will not be penalised.

Alright, then what I'll inform my teacher of the issue, and confirm it with her by showing the measurements taken by me, and the measurements in the marking scheme.
