The Question is on Chemistry AS paper2 O/N/2012, 9701/23 Question number one part b) iii). Actually you need not look at it.
I am confused at the calculation given by the answer. Now, the question is divided into several parts, let's just say in part a), the question is asking candidates to calculate the mole of one reactant from given mass, and the answer is an recurring decimal number. in part b), however, the question ask candidates to calculate the mass of one of the products using mole ratios. The answer for part b) used the rounded value got in part a), which causes a deviation from my calculation. I think it is not acceptable to use a rounded value instead of precise one. What do you guys think? Please help me out, thanks very much!
