So what is the Uncertainty of
-Syringe
-StopWatch?
btw i just asked my Sir...he said just (0.1/value) times 100 gives % uncertainity/error.
thanks...so the same could be said abt the vernier caliper?
except that uncertainity of a vernier calliper is 0.01 cm.
This is good but there is some modificationquestion 2 is new...and for question 1 o/n 2005
Apparently notmost of the people are saying that no electricity question(100%)
there is a question related heat like in this paper http://papers.xtremepapers.com/CIE/Cambridge International A and AS Level/Physics (9702)/9702_s12_qp_33.pdf
question 2
yeah right...
Are they not in cm !? You are confusing me now :s0.01 millimeters!
The top scale has a smallest reading of 1 millimeter, and the lower one (written on it) is usually 0.02 mm.
So uncertainty half the smallest division, 0.02 mm /2 = 0.01 mm
Are they not in cm !? You are confusing me now :s
how to calculate rate of flow???I told my sir about heat..he laughed and said theres no thermometer asked in the aparatus.
Are they not in cm !? You are confusing me now :s
Yaah that makes sense thanksits 0.01 cm or 0.1 mm...and not 0.01 mm
You will mark two points for instance 50 cm3 and 30 cm3 ....u will note the time taken for water to flow frm 50 to 30.....then volume divide by time...in this example 50-30=20 divided by time frm stopwatch.how to calculate rate of flow???
2 d.p.and also to how many decimal places, do we quote time?
i texted my teacher..he hasnt replied yet..:S if you get to know from somewhere else do tell me as well please
