Hey smbdy help plzzzz!!!i am confuzed hw cm ppl have soo many As or A*s i mean nt every one who gvz deze examz has 90 or above i asked my sir he was an examiner for edexel fr bio and he sed dat they make their own grade limitz ppl have markz in late 70s cn even get an A it depends on da grade threshold is dat true???plz smone tell if u knw??

it all depends on how well or how badly the paper was attempted by students tht particular year. there was a similar thread here a few days back where a member got a reply from cambridge regarding this matter... it explained everything succinctly. i suggest u go back a few pages n check it out for urself. other than tht all i can say is tht A* or A is much easier to obtain in these exams than in our school ones bcuz there is no fixed threshold.. it varies according to the general marks obtained by students tht particular year.at times A* can be obtained at 80% buh on the result card it'll be above 89%.... hope this helps.(A)
