number of subjects required for O level

Can any body explain me in detail that how many subjects required to complete O Level.

8 subjects are the minimum. u may take up to as many as u want. Im taking 13!

Actually, u need a minimum of only 5 subjects to pass o-lvlz with english n' math being compulsory subjects but in pakistan, to get an equivalence certificate, one must pass pakistan studies, urdu n' islamiyat. Hey usaf, vat subjects r u taking btw?
